We can also support downstream operations and offer support to improve output by assessing the material, thickness, geometry, tolerances, and required edge condition for optimum results.
Techni CNC water jet cutter TJ4100-X3
Water jet profiling is carried out using our Techni CNC water jet cutter, model TJ4100-X3 to produce accurate, repeatable profiles from customer drawings and CAD data.
The system supports abrasive water jet cutting across a wide range of ferrous, non-ferrous and specialist materials, with a cutting area suited to both individual components and larger sheet or plate requirements.
Machine specification
- Machine type: CNC abrasive water jet cutter
- Cutting area: approximately 4,100 × 2,100 mm
- Cutting table size: approximately 4,400 × 2,020 mm
- Published motion accuracy: ±0.025 mm
- Published motion repeatability: ±0.015 mm
- Cutting process: cold cutting using high-pressure water and abrasive
Metals and alloys we can cut
Our Techni CNC water jet cutter regularly processes a broad range of metals, engineering alloys and engineering plastics, including nylon.
Ferrous metals
Our steel water jet cutting services support common ferrous materials used across industrial, fabrication and precision engineering projects, including:
- Mild steel
- Carbon steel
- Hardened tool steel
- Cast iron
Stainless and speciality steels
We provide stainless steel water jet cutting services for standard, high-performance and wear-resistant materials, including:
- Standard stainless steel grades
- Duplex stainless steel
- Wear plate
- Armour plate grades
Non-ferrous metals
Our water jet cutting capability supports non-ferrous metals used for components, panels, blanks and fabrication-ready parts, including:
- Aluminium
- Copper
- Brass
- Other specified non-ferrous alloys
Exotic and aerospace alloys
We can process specialist materials used across aerospace, defence and advanced engineering applications, including:
- Titanium
- Inconel
- Monel
- Specialised high-temperature alloys
Why choose Bramley Aerospace for water jet cutting?
Broad material capability
The Techni TJ4100-X3 can process common engineering metals alongside stainless steels, titanium, Inconel, Monel and other specialist alloys.
Cold cutting process
Water jet cutting does not rely on a concentrated thermal cutting source. This can help avoid heat-affected edges and may reduce the risk of heat-related distortion or changes around the cut area.

Design review and quote
Send us your drawing, CAD file or project details, including the material, thickness, quantity and tolerances. Bramley Aerospace will usually source the required material, although customer-supplied material can also be accepted by prior agreement.
Procure and manufacture
Our team reviews the requirements, prepares the material and completes the water jet cutting to the agreed specification. Any additional machining, forming or fabrication stages can also be coordinated where required.
Check, package and deliver
Completed components are inspected against the agreed requirements, securely packaged and prepared for delivery. Any specified documentation, traceability or handling requirements can be included as part of the order.
From prototype development to repeat production
Our water jet cutting service can support different stages of product and engineering development.
Customers may require:
- An initial profile for design evaluation
- A one-off component for a bespoke engineering solution
- A small batch for testing or approval
- Development parts for a prototype assembly
- Repeat profiles for an established manufacturing programme
Because our design and manufacturing teams work closely together, we can review how the component will be produced, used and integrated rather than considering the cut profile in isolation.
This is particularly useful for projects involving unusual materials, bespoke geometries or several connected manufacturing processes.
Request a water jet cutting quote
Send us the project details and our team will review the profile, material, thickness, tolerances, quantities and any additional manufacturing requirements.
We provide water jet cutting services for aluminium, mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, Monel, copper, brass and other specialist engineering alloys.
